A] The Hackathon will be conducted in two stages.

  1. (Stage 1-Online) Quiz : This will be an Online event where Teams are required to submit their answers to Quiz. 
  2. (Stage 2-Offline) Solution Implementation : 20 teams shortlisted from the Stage 1 will be selected and invited to Stage 2. This will be a 24-hour coding event held in IIT Madras on 19th and 20th October, 2024. Selected Teams members are required to travel to Chennai for the event. Food, Accomodation and To-and-Fro (2nd AC) train tickets will be provided to all members from the selected Teams. The individuals need to book their train tickets and will be reimbursed at the event.

B] General Rules  

  • Going Solo is Not Allowed. Team size is min. 2 and max. 3 members
  • Candidature of the Teams with only DevPost Registration and Project Submission without details filled in Team Registration Form will not be allowed

C] Rules for Quiz (Stage 1- Online) 

  • A quiz will be conducted on 24th Sept 2024 during 8PM-11:30PM. A Google Form for the quiz will be available during this time, and already registered teams will only be considered for the quiz.
  • Quiz to be submitted at Team level and not at Individual level. Please go through this video to understand the focus ares for the quiz - 9th September Online Session
  • The Quiz will be a mix of MCQ+Descriptive questions
  • Original solutions are only required. Plagiarism is not allowed and will be verified via tools
  • The solutions will be checked to verify that it is not AI Generated
  • Judges decision will be final

D] Rules for Solution Implementation Evaluation (Stage 2- Offline) 

  • A private Kaggle competition will be created for the Offline event
  • Novelty of the solution will be a deciding factor
  • Judges decision will be final
